Traffic Enforcement

The Dickinson Police Department strives to keep the streets of Dickinson safe for drivers and pedestrians alike.  All members of the patrol division assist with enforcement of traffic laws. In addition the department has a two member traffic unit.  These two officers patrol the streets on motorcycle and have the primary duty of traffic enforcement and accident investigation.

The traffic enforcement unit targets areas of concern through out the city.  This includes school zones, high accident areas, and areas of concern reported by citizens.  During 2008, 394 traffic accidents were reported in the city of Dickinson.  This included 65 accidents with personal injury.  If you wish to report a traffic enforcement problem you can call (281) 337 4700 X 5 or use the on-line traffic enforcement complaint form.
